Nestled among pecan and oak trees on a breathtaking yet tranquil estate, Briscoe Manor offers the serenity of natural beauty and the scene of classic romance. Owners, Tan and Mack McDonald, fell in love with Briscoe Manor the second they laid eyes on it and knew instantly that they wanted to be a part of its incredible history. They’re committed to providing a positive experience that will foster a lifelong connection between Briscoe couples, hosts and all guests.

History

The history of Briscoe Manor dates back nearly 200 years. The original tract of land encompassed 4,605 acres and stretched north from the Brazos River to the sandy prairie land south of Katy. The property was originally used as a working ranch and still to this day longhorns are raised on the property! Although many years have passed, the new owners have worked diligently to pay homage to Briscoe Manor’s rich history. Can you spot any features from the property in our icon & logo?

“What an amazing venue! As soon as you enter the gates of Briscoe Manor the meandering road passes through well maintained and immaculately maintained grounds. Off to one side you see the barn banquet building and an enormous fenced in outside area. Off to the opposite side, you have the chapel and other ancillary buildings that are necessary for the big day. After the services in the chapel, we headed to the banquet barn to a beautifully appointed and decorated family style dinner for 75 people. The staff was amazing and the food was perfect. It appears our drink of the night and preferred by many other people were old fashions, and the custom branded ice cube was yet another attention to detail, that is necessary for your special day."
